Xbox 360 Best Selling Games

Xbox 360 thrives on dedicated gamers. Those are the players – probably like you – that play a game until they’re good at it, and then they keep on playing it.

It doesn’t help that Xbox Live integrates a social aspect that is missing to some extent in all other consoles.

But that’s why Xbox sells some of the most games out of all consoles. They have several Xbox-only titles, like Halo and Gears of War, that are on the best-selling video games lists on the web (Gears has sold 5 million; Halo 3 8.1 million).

And those hit games keep on going. In September, Gears of War 3 will release, along with a special edition console, controller, and three separate versions of the game (Limited, Special, and Epic).

Then later this year or early next year, we’ll see Halo 4 (as well as Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, a tribute to the ten-year mark from the first Halo). Master Chief is back and better than ever.

And who can forget Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3? While not Xbox-limited, the game prior (Black Ops) is the ultimate best-selling game for Xbox 360.
